A link roundup featuring all the best on the web from the past few weeks.

Well, friends, we’ve made it to yet another weekend. Three cheers to Friday mornings at 10am, my favorite time of the week. At 10am on Friday, the full weekend stretches out in all its glory, and Monday morning seems like a zillion years away. It’s a beautiful thing.

Because life for us these days looks like a complete gypsy adventure, we’re off today on another driving swing for a couple weeks. This time, we’re heading to Florida by way of the Carolinas. As you do.

We’re excited to get back to living out of our luggage, although for this road trip, I’m gonna go ahead and pack my yoga mat, massive furry slippers and cozy ‘sherpa’ robe. Because we have the room and I feel best in the winter wearing lots of bulky clothing.

When you need a quiet moment to yourself, burrowed under your favorite throw blanket, check out this fantastic link roundup. Articles carefully selected by me, for you.

Have a fantastic weekend, friends. I hope it’s full of baked goods and playing in the snow and wine by the fireplace. By the way, isn’t it interesting that ‘wine by the fireplace’ is such a wintry visual, yet I have never (or maybe once in my life) actually had a glass of wine by a fire? Clearly I have something to aim for this winter.
