Corners of the Internet Round Up

Corners of the Internet #9

It’s that time again. The weekend is upon us and over here in the UK, we’re looking forward to a nice long weekend, thanks to a bank holiday on Monday. After the past few weeks of travel it will be nice to do things like go to the gym and read a book and go to one or two of our favorite weekend markets.

And hang out online.

Here are tons of fantastic finds that the Internet has produced over the past couple weeks that I’ve been saving up for you to browse this weekend.

Ode to tiny house lovers.

And on the flip side, the most amazing tiny houses for rent.

I don’t follow instructions very well. Cheers to those who follow instructions to a T.

Did you know that Julia Child’s French house is now available for rent?

When we lived in NYC, we had a quest to find the city’s perfect chocolate chip cookie (winner? Levain Bakery). Here’s another similar quest.

The fantasy version of myself wears impossibly high heels, reads the newspaper in bed on the weekend, and has the skill to bake a cake like this.

Say thank you. As much as possible.

Trying to figure out if this guy is creative and artistic or just has too much time on his hands.

Brighten your day for $5 or less.

The official guide to email sign-offs. I’ve been doing everything wrong.

Living in the UK has me missing peanut butter filled desserts. Seriously, the lack of PB here is a major national deficiency.

My inner OCD child loves this.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a huge fan of reading longform journalism. Especially early in the morning when I’ve woken up too early. I’ve read some amazing pieces recently. Here they are in no particular order.

Luck Matters

The Secret Shame of Middle Class Americans (this one is mind blowing)

Can an Outsider Ever Truly Become Amish?

(I have eclectic taste, what can I say?)

My latest obsession is bullet journals. I’ve been doing a ton of reading about it and Pinning so many gorgeous pages and spreads. Here are some good resources that I’ve bookmarked. Now I want to buy fancy pens.

Boho Berry (the most comprehensive blogger who writes about this extensively!)

Hello Brio

Happiness is Homemade

The Lazy Genius Collective

We’re starting to write all about our recent vacation. The first posts about Ljubljana, Slovenia and Istria, Croatia are up, along with a fantastic restaurant review.

Have a fab weekend!
